Pure Play is the result/combination/solution to two driving factors in my life, the desire to create/make/produce and, what feels like the diametric opposing concept/value/ethos, to not create more shit/waste/crap. Just to put it simply.

Pure Play is a place where I can offer my unique set of skills/perspective/expertise to fix clothing you already have or to make something you have always dreamed of out of what you/we already have.

We can explore/create/play together....see what I did there?!

Terms &#38;amp; Conditions

By booking a consultation, utilizing my alteration and custom services, or purchasing my physical products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Consultations &#38;amp; PricingFree Consultations: All initial consultations are 100% free with no obligation. You are free to take your garment elsewhere if my quote or process isn't the right fit for you.Quotes &#38;amp; Adjustments: Initial quotes provided during your fitting are estimates based on my assessment. In the extremely rare event that a project requires additional unexpected work exceeding the quote, I will contact you to discuss options before proceeding. If a project ultimately requires less work than anticipated, I will gladly adjust your price downward at pickup.Payment Terms: For any alteration service totaling over $100, a 50% deposit is required to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon final pickup.Accepted Payment Methods: I currently accept payments via PayPal and Venmo.2. Scheduling, Fittings &#38;amp; TurnaroundSchedule &#38;amp; Availability: Pure Play is run alongside my full-time career, so my availability requires a little extra patience! Standard appointments, fittings, and pickups take place on Sundays. While my schedule isn't wide open, I am flexible and can arrange mid-week appointments on a case-by-case basis if Sundays do not work for you.Project Timelines &#38;amp; Rush Orders: Project timelines and the number of required fittings vary depending on complexity and will be established during your consultation. If you need a project completed on an urgent deadline outside my standard schedule, a rush fee may apply.3. Pickups, Final Fittings &#38;amp; Guarantee WindowFinal Fitting at Pickup: When you pick up your garment, we will do a final fitting together to ensure everything looks and feels right. If adjustments are needed then and there, I will keep the garment to make it right.7-Day Fit Window: I want you to love how your piece fits! I offer a 7-day window after pickup to report any issues related to the agreed-upon alterations. I will gladly adjust my original work for free within this week.Project Completion: After 7 days from pickup, the project is officially considered complete. Any subsequent requests or adjustments after this window will be billed as a new alteration service.4. Physical Products (Handmade Goods &#38;amp; Bags)All Sales Are Final: Because Pure Play is a small independent studio and all physical items are handmade by me, I do not accept returns or exchanges. All product sales are final.Product Descriptions: I provide detailed descriptions, measurements, material notes, and high-quality photos for all listings so you can clearly understand the size, scale, color, and texture before purchasing. Please review these details carefully prior to placing your order.Lifetime Repair Guarantee: I stand behind the quality of my handmade products! For any non-custom physical product (such as bags), I offer lifetime repairs for issues resulting from reasonable wear and tear.Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for covering shipping costs both to and from my studio for repairs (or free local drop-off/pickup can be arranged).Repair Timelines: Repair timelines depend on the severity of the damage and my current workload, which will be estimated upon receiving your repair request.Modifications vs. Repairs: This guarantee applies exclusively to restoring original wear and tear. It does not cover new customizations, modifications, or fit alterations to the item. If you wish to alter or customize a previously purchased item, we can discuss options and costs separately.Shipping &#38;amp; Local Pickup: Shipping costs are not included in product prices and are calculated at checkout based on your location. Local pickup is always free and encouraged if you are nearby!5. Shipping &#38;amp; Delivery ErrorsShipping Accuracy: Please double-check your address at checkout. I cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or lost packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided during purchase.Carrier Delays: Once a package is handed over to the postal carrier, shipping times and transit delays are outside my direct control.Failed Delivery &#38;amp; Redelivery: If a package is returned to me as undeliverable or uncollected, I will contact you to arrange a second attempt. Q: How should I prepare for my fitting or consultation?

A: If your alteration is for a specific event (like a wedding, gala, or special occasion), please bring the exact shoes and undergarments you plan to wear with the garment. Heel height and undergarment shaping significantly impact how a dress hangs, where the hem falls, and the overall fit. Bringing them to your fitting ensures I can achieve the exact look and fit you expect!
