Project Title: The Triangle Tote

Medium: Upcycled denim and scrap textiles
The Triangle Tote re-imagines a classic functional item by introducing new angles and asymmetrical shapes while maintaining perfect balance. This design intentionally plays with contrasts: the durable, often masculine nature of upcycled denim and workwear is softened by the inherently feminine form of the triangle.
The bag’s unique shape is achieved through an incredibly efficient use of material. The body is constructed from a single continuous rectangle of fabric, and the thin, rectangular strap serves as both a handle and a structural element. This design allows us to make the most of our limited "reroll" scrap material.
This collection also allowed us to explore new textiles, incorporating textured, shiny, and embroidered remnant fabrics that further leaned into the bag’s elegant and feminine aesthetic. The tote's functionality is enhanced by a roomy interior, an inside pocket, and a flexible bow-tie closure. This closure adds a soft, graceful detail but can also be hidden inside the bag. The design's flexibility allows the bag to be carried as a shoulder bag or a crossbody, ensuring that this timeless accessory is as versatile as it is beautiful.
